The Schaumburg theme park embodies the Halloween spirit with a variety of monsterrific activities. No trip to LEGOLAND Discovery Center during October is complete without helping our Master Model Builder build a HUGE LEGO Vampire! Visitors will also be treated to a brand new 4D Halloween movie, The Great Monster Chase – exclusive to Brick-or-Treat. Costumes are encouraged to all visitors!

Halloween Spooktacular at Opera in Focus

Opera In Focus in Rolling Meadows, ILThe arrival of October starts the annual Halloween Spooktacular at Opera in Focus! The Rolling Meadows show features a collection of haunting classics all performed by puppets. The production includes scenes from Boris Godunov’s Mussorgsky, Gounod’s Faust and Andrew Lloyd Weber’s The Phantom Of The Opera.  Patrons who attend a performance in costume during the month of October will receive a special gift backstage!

Fall Festival at Goebbert’s Farm and Garden

Goebbert's Pumpkin FarmIf you love apple cider donuts, then a visit to Goebbert’s Farm and Garden is a must during the fall season. Goebbert’s Fall Festival is a great place for families to enjoy a nice fall day. Come enjoy a list of animals, watch a pig race, or pick out a pumpkin! A visit to the farm is not complete without stopping by their famous Pumpkin Eating Dinosaur to witness it chomp down pumpkins. Heads up, he’s a little messy!

Hop into the Halloween season with creatures and creepy crawlers at Boo at the Zoo! The Halloween-themed event at Brookfield Zoo is perfect for all ages and is sure to be a spooky great time. Make sure to wear your costumes as there are plenty of cool family photo ops to capture. Gather your ghoulfriends, little ghosts, and goblins for this fun-filled family event! The kids will leave with a sweet treat.
