There is no need for a road trip to get fresh foods! You can get your produce right here at any of the region’s local farmers markets. Check out these Chicago Northwest locations below: 

  • Come visit the Arlington Heights Farmers Market running every Saturday until October 15th, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m!  This market, run and organized by the Arlington Heights Historical Society, is located right across the street from the Arlington Heights Historical Museum.  It offers locally sourced produce and many other foods for purchase - like seasonal fruits and freshly made cheeses!              

  • Located on 901 Wellington Avenue, the Elk Grove Farmers Market runs from 8:00 a.m to 1:0Elk Grove Village Farmers Market Set Up0 p.m. until mid-October every Saturday.  During a visit, you’ll find your favorite fruits and vegetables.  This market also offers a variety of other goods such as fresh baked bread and chopped steaks!  On your trip, you can enjoy the local splash pad and library while also checking out other planned activities.  Don’t leave without grabbing some mini donuts!      

  • Can’t make Saturdays?  No problem!  Schaumburg Farmers Market is located in the Trickster Cultural Center parking lot every Friday from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. from June 3rd through October 28th.  Shop locally grown fruits and vegetables, seafood, meats, flowers, plants and gourmet cheeses, while enjoying live music and appearances from various community organizations.  You will also find unique things like knife sharpening and baked goods all in one place!
