Schaumburg, IL (September 13, 2021) – Meet Chicago Northwest is pleased to welcome Dandiya Raas, featuring internationally renowned artist Kirtidan Gadhvi on Friday, September 17, 2021 to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel.

Dandiya Raas is a folk-dance originating from the Indian state of Gujarat and popularly performed during the festival of Navaratri. Navaratri is a Hindu festival that spans nine nights and is celebrated every year in autumn. It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of Indian culture. This event is hosted by Shree Jalaram Mandir Temple of Hoffman Estates and is open to the public. All proceeds will benefit the temple.

The event will take place Friday, September 17, 2021 starting at 7:00PM. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Kids under 10 are free.
