"Nuestra Belleza Latina" 2012 Hosts National Open Auditions In The Windy City Featuring Grammy Award Winning Singer Lupillo Rivera As Guest Judge
CHICAGO, IL – JAN. 4, 2012 – Univision Network is ringing in the New Year with its first set of nationwide open auditions for its hit reality beauty competition, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) on Wednesday, Jan. 11 starting at 8 a.m. at Medieval Times in Chicago.
The show’s adored host, Giselle Blondet, current reigning fifth season queen Nastassja Bolívar, judges Osmel Sousa and Lupita Jones will meet contestants as they audition for the chance to compete for an exclusive Univision Network contract and $250,000 in cash and prizes. GRAMMY® award winning regional Mexican singing sensation Lupillo Rivera will make a special appearance as a guest judge, offering the young hopefuls encouragement and advice throughout the audition process.
Sponsored by Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and Famsa, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” is searching for the country’s most charming, intelligent and enchanting Hispanic women for the exceptional opportunity to become Univision’s upcoming air personality. Contestants will participate in a series of challenges in front of a live audience that will test their determination and character, a feat that will take much more than looks to win. Only 12 lucky women from around the country will be chosen to move onto the final rounds.

Participants must be females between 18 and 27 years of age on the day of audition, fluent in Spanish and, if chosen as a finalist, must be available to reside in Miami during the length of their participation in the program. Interested candidates also can submit audition videos directly to the “Nuestra Belleza Latina” site until February 3, 2012. The top two finalists of the virtual casting will have the opportunity to participate in the call back rounds in Miami.
