The Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau (WCNCB) is pleased to announce that it has retained elite status among international destination marketing organizations by earning the prestigious Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) designation for 2011 -2014.
WCNCB led Illinois by being the first organization to earn the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) designation in 2007.
In earning DMAP re-accreditation, the WCNCB communicates that their organization is committed to industry excellence by demonstrating compliance in 54 mandatory and 33 voluntary standards in 16 core competencies including governance, finance, management, human resources, technology, visitor services, group services, sales, communications, membership, brand management, destination development, research/market intelligence, innovation, and stakeholder relationships.
