Long Grove Fine Art & Wine Festival
The Long Grove Fine Art & Wine Festival will be held on August 14 and 15 in a beautiful new venue in Long Grove Historic Village. This year the 22nd annual Art Fest will be held in the recently expanded and landscaped Archer Municipal Lot near Fountain Square. More than 90 juried artists will display and sell paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry and more. In addition to the artwork available for purchase at the fair, many of the artists take commissions and will create one-of-a-kind pieces for art enthusiasts. Original works have a wide price range, ensuring something for everyone.

Visitors to the art fest can also enjoy a wine tasting experience at the Long Grove Wine Tasting tent adjacent to the artist booths and sample from the variety of the fine wines available in Long Grove. Wine will also be available by the glass, bottle or case. This year the artists’ booths, wine tasting, food booths, entertainment stage and children’s activities will all be located in the Archer Lot in the historic village. The Art Fest is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and the Wine Tasting is from noon to 5 p.m. both days. Admission is free to the art fest, but there will be a minimal charge for wine tasting. Free parking is available in the Stemple Lot and other downtown lots.
The great sounds of continuous live music from performers Mick Ducker, Robby Celestin, Joel Styzens and Colby Maddox will add to this popular art event. On Sunday, Elliott from ArtBeat Live!’s will dazzle visitors with live performance art. Using only his hands and sometimes a brush, Elliott begins an explosive performance – throwing paint, challenging the audience and producing an amazing canvas – all to a great beat.
